Simply Auth Social includes everything from the 1st version of the product and more feature such as:

1. Facebook , Twitter, Github and Google Sign up & Login

2. Unified  customizable User Schema so that you can link a user's social media accounts (instead of creating separate users)

3. Plays nicely with the features included in version 1 ('Simply Auth'). For example if a user requests a password change, the  web app let's the user know that they had previously signup with facebook, twitter etc

4. All previous features are applicable, for example logging out the user after 5 minutes of inactivity and rate limiting.

NOTE:

Facebook, Twitter & Google require to move your app from development mode to production mode you will need to ask for special permissions from them.  You can run social authentication on localhost quite easily to set things up.
